Sunil Gavaskar was a captain of the Indian Cricket Team. He was born in 1949. He was an Indian national. He is popularly known as Sunny and 'the little master'. He 1987.
He played his first test in 1971 against played cricket during the period 1971— West Indies. He made world record with 774 runs in four tests. He made 34 centuries in Test Cricket. His average runs in Test is 51.12. The total runs scored by Gavaskar in Test went up to 10,122.

 His highest score in Test was 236 not out at Chepauk in Chennai against West Indies. He had 45 half Centuries in Test to his credit. He played 125 matches against different countries. Gavaskar played as Captain in 47 Test cricket. He is the most honoured Indian cricketer scoring more than ten thousand runs in Test.
